3/4 cup sugar3 tablespoons water1 egg white, lightly beaten1 teaspoon ground cinnamon3/4 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon ground cloves1/4 teaspoon ground allspice1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg2 cups pecan halves1-1/2 cups whole unblanched almonds
Preparation
In a large bowl, combine the first eight ingredients. Add nuts and stir until coated. Spread in a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan.
Bake at 250° for 45 minutes or until golden brown, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on a waxed paper-lined baking sheet to cool. Store in an airtight container.
