Ingredients

1 pound ground pork2 large onions, chopped1 medium sweet red pepper, chopped1 medium green pepper. chopped1 cup chopped celery4 garlic cloves, minced2 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) diced tomatoes, undrained1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste3/4 cup water2 teaspoons brown sugar1 teaspoon dried oregano1 teaspoon chili powder1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepperDash hot pepper sauce

Preparation

In a Dutch oven, brown pork and onions until pork is no longer pink; drain. Stir in peppers and celery; cook for 5 minutes. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Add remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
