Ingredients

1 pound smoked turkey sausage, halved and sliced1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained1 can (15-1/2 ounces) great northern beans, rinsed and drained1 can (15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained1-1/2 cups frozen corn1-1/2 cups salsa1 large green pepper, chopped1 large onion, chopped1/2 to 1 cup water3 garlic cloves, minced1 teaspoon ground cumin

Preparation

In a 5-qt. slow cooker, combine all ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until heated through. Stir before serving. Freeze option: Freeze cooled stew in freezer containers. To use, partially thaw in refrigerator overnight. Heat through in a saucepan, stirring occasionally and adding a little water if necessary.
