Ingredients
2 cups water1 cup red wine vinegar3 tablespoons olive oil1 tablespoon sugar1 tablespoon dried basil2 garlic cloves, minced1-1/2 teaspoons salt1 teaspoon dried oregano1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes2 pounds small fresh mushrooms
Preparation
In a large shallow dish, combine the first 9 ingredients. Add the mushrooms and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
Drain mushrooms, discarding marinade.
