Ingredients
2 pounds extra-lean ground turkey1 small onion, finely chopped2 tablespoons chili powder3/4 teaspoon ground cumin1/2 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon pepper1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce18 Bibb or iceberg lettuce leaves3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheeseOptional toppings: Sour cream, salsa and guacamole
Preparation
In a large skillet, cook and crumble turkey with onion over medium-high heat until no longer pink, 8-10 minutes.
Stir in seasonings and tomato sauce; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, until flavors are blended, about 10 minutes. Serve in lettuce with cheese and toppings as desired.
