Ingredients

1 cup shortening1-3/4 cups sugar2 large eggs1/2 cup milk1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract3 cups self-rising flour

Preparation

In a bowl, cream together shortening and sugar. Beat in eggs. Add milk and vanilla; beat well. Stir in flour; mix well.

Drop by tablespoonfuls 2-1/2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes.
