Ingredients
1 package (19 ounces) frozen garden vegetable medley1/3 cup chopped onion1 tablespoon canola oil1/2 cup water1/2 cup ketchup1/4 cup cider vinegar1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce1 tablespoon honey1 teaspoon ground mustard1 teaspoon paprika1/4 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon sugar1/8 teaspoon pepper1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce1 pound smoked sausage
Preparation
Cook vegetables according to package directions.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute onion in oil until tender. Stir in the water, ketchup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, honey, mustard, paprika, salt, sugar, pepper and hot pepper sauce. Add sausage.
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 10-12 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened and sausage is heated through, stirring occasionally and turning sausage once. Serve with the vegetable medley.
