1 tablespoon ground coriander2 teaspoons ground ginger2 teaspoons onion powder2 teaspoons garlic powder1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon pepper1 teaspoon dried thyme3/4 teaspoon ground allspice3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon10 bone-in beef short ribs (about 5 pounds) 1 large sweet onion, chopped1/2 cup beef broth1 jar (10 ounces) apricot preserves3 tablespoons cider vinegar3 garlic cloves, minced
Preparation
Combine first 10 ingredients, reserving 2 tablespoons. Rub remaining seasoning mixture over ribs. Place onion and broth in a 6-qt. slow cooker; cover with ribs. Cook, covered, on low until ribs are tender, 6-8 hours.
Meanwhile, combine preserves, vinegar, garlic and reserved seasoning mixture. Serve with ribs.
