1 pound ground beef1/2 cup chopped onion1/2 cup condensed tomato soup, undiluted1/2 cup ketchup3 tablespoons grape jelly1 tablespoon brown sugar1 tablespoon cider vinegar1 tablespoon prepared mustard1/2 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon celery seed5 hamburger buns, split
Preparation
In a large cast-iron or other heavy skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the soup, ketchup, jelly, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, salt and celery seed. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, until heated through, 10 minutes. Serve on buns.
