Ingredients

2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch cubes1 large sweet onion, cut into wedges2 tablespoons olive oil1 tablespoon brown sugar1/2 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon ground allspice1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon1/8 teaspoon pepper3 small pears, quartered1 package (19 ounces) Italian sausage links

Preparation

Preheat oven to 425º. Place sweet potatoes and onion in a 15x10x1-in. baking pan; drizzle with oil. Sprinkle with brown sugar and seasonings; toss to coat. Bake 15 minutes. Gently stir in pears; top with sausages.

Bake 20 minutes longer, stirring once. Increase oven temperature to 450º. Bake until sausages are golden brown and a thermometer inserted in sausage reads at least 160º, 8-10 minutes longer, turning once.
