Ingredients

6 boneless skinless chicken thighs (about 1-1/2 pounds)1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning1 medium onion, chopped1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce1/2 cup barbecue sauce1/4 cup orange juice1 teaspoon garlic powder3/4 teaspoon dried oregano1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce1/4 teaspoon pepperHot cooked brown rice, optional

Preparation

Place chicken in a 3-qt. slow cooker; sprinkle with poultry seasoning. Top with onion and tomatoes. In a small bowl, mix the next 7 ingredients; pour over top.

Cook, covered, on low 5-6 hours or until chicken is tender. If desired, serve with rice.
