Ingredients
1 large sweet onion, peeled and thinly sliced1 medium red onion, peeled and thinly sliced4 garlic cloves, minced1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chiles2 tablespoons minced fresh cilantro2 tablespoons lemon juice1 tablespoon olive oil1 teaspoon sugar1/2 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
Preparation
In a large bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients. In a small bowl, whisk the lemon juice, oil, sugar, salt and pepper. Pour over onion mixture; toss to coat. Refrigerate until chilled. Serve with a slotted spoon.
